How it works
There's a billion units of night sky. This is your chance to light one up.
TerraUnits turns a billion digital units into ownable territory, each one lit up like a city seen from orbit. Claim a spot, brand it as your own, and it's yours — permanently visible on a map anyone can explore, for as long as you hold it.
01Why claim
What you actually get
This isn't just a colored dot. Here's exactly what claiming a territory does for you.
Real clicks to your site
Your tile links straight out to your site. Anyone who hovers, taps, or opens your territory on the map can click through — every one of those is a visitor you didn't have before.
We're early — exposure only grows
TerraUnits just launched. We're pushing it on X, Reddit, and site directories, with more promotion planned. The traffic numbers are small right now, but every claim today is exposure that compounds as the map fills up.
Shine brighter, get noticed more
Bigger and pricier tiles glow brighter and sit closer to the center — they catch more eyes on a globe people are actively spinning and exploring. Visibility on the map is visibility for your brand.

Exploring the globe
The map is fully interactive — here's how to find your way around and see who owns what.
Drag to spin
Grab the globe and rotate it to explore every corner of the map — or just let it turn on its own.
Hover a light to see the brand
Move over any glowing point and it lifts up, revealing the logo and name of whoever owns that spot.
Tap to open it
Click a light to drop into that region, see its full details, and claim it if it's still up for grabs.
04The process
Three steps, start to finish
Pick your spot
Spin the globe or open the full map. Every tile is real, ownable ground among a billion units of night sky — pick one that means something to you, or grab prime real estate near the center.
Make it yours
Set a title, link it to your site, and pick a color or drop in your logo. The moment you claim it, your tile lights up on the live map — and the more you pay, the brighter it glows.
Hold your ground
It's yours until someone pays more than its current value to take it over. Every claim starts at just $2 per block — small territories are within reach for anyone.

06The upside
Why claim a piece of it?
Real, visible ownership
Not a mockup, not a mention — an actual tile on a public map that anyone can zoom into and click. Your name, your color, your link, permanently glowing in the night sky until it's yours no longer.
Instant exposure
New claims show up immediately on the Recently Added feed, no matter how small. You don't need to be the biggest landowner to get seen — you just need to claim.
Early-owner status
TerraUnits has just under a billion units left to claim. The people who plant their flag now are the ones who get to say they were here first — that's a story worth owning.
Starts at almost nothing
A single block starts at $2. No subscriptions, no hidden fees — you pay once to claim, and the tile is yours for as long as nobody outshines you.
What happens if someone outshines me?
Anyone can take over your territory by paying more than its current value — the minimum raise is just $1. If that happens, the tile passes to the new owner and your claim on that exact spot ends. That's what keeps the map alive and moving. The real value in holding a spot is what it gives you while you own it: a visible, branded light in the night sky with your name on it, burning brighter than the ones around it — not a resale play. The Brightest Point, the single most contested tile on the map, starts at $500 for exactly this reason.
